Executive Director

Location: Greater Indianapolis Area

Nmble Medical is partnering with a leading healthcare practice to find an experienced Executive Director. The ideal candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple clinic sites and teams. You will be responsible for fostering a strong organizational culture, developing high-performing leaders, driving clinical and operational excellence, and ensuring sustainable financial growth. This is a highly visible role for a mission-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about advancing healthcare delivery in the community.Responsibilities:

  • Full accountability for the performance of a multi-site healthcare organization, including operational, clinical, financial, and cultural outcomes.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire leaders and frontline team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and improved outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities for expansion, partnership, and innovation to strengthen market presence.

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, hospitals, community partners, and internal teams.

  • Oversee operational budgets and ensure responsible financial management.

  • Actively represent the organization in internal and external meetings, reinforcing its mission and values.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in leading a multi-site operational business.

  • 10+ years of progressive healthcare management experience, with a track record of team development and organizational growth.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.

  • Healthcare leadership experience strongly preferred; experience in value-based care or related models is a plus.

  • Proven ability to lead large, diverse, and high-performing teams.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and operational budgets.

  • Skilled in strategic planning, problem-solving, and execution.

  • Ability to build strong external partnerships and internal alignment.

  • Leadership philosophy that aligns with values of service, integrity, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Willingness to travel (approximately 25%).
