Surgical Technologist
Location: South Maimi, FL | On-site | Full-time
Nmble Medical is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to support surgical teams in South Florida. The ideal candidate is experienced in maintaining sterile environments, anticipating surgeon needs, and ensuring procedures run efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, sterile supplies, and equipment
Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures
Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during operations
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow
Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures
Handle specimens properly and ensure accurate labeling
Clean and restock operating rooms following procedures
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred (or eligible)
Minimum of 1 year of surgical tech experience (preferred, but not required for strong candidates)
Knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
