Medical Assistant (MA)

Location: Charlotte Metro | Onsite | Full-time

Nmble Medical Hiring Solutions is partnering with leading healthcare organizations across the Charlotte metro area seeking compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented Medical Assistants / Front Office Support professionals to join fast-paced clinical environments.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy both patient interaction and administrative support responsibilities while contributing to a positive patient experience and efficient clinical operations. Candidates should be comfortable working in dynamic healthcare settings and possess strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support Responsibilities

  • Room and prepare patients for provider visits

  • Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and patient information

  • Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care support

  • Administer injections, immunizations, EKGs, and specimen collection as applicable

  • Maintain accurate patient records within EMR/EHR systems

  • Support patient flow and ensure exam rooms are stocked and prepared

Front Office & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner

  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient check-in/check-out processes

  • Verify insurance information and obtain necessary documentation

  • Answer incoming calls and assist with patient inquiries

  • Process referrals, prior authorizations, and patient communications

  • Support administrative workflows to maintain efficient daily operations

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare, or customer service setting

  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

  • Professional, patient-centered attitude and strong attention to detail

Preferred

  • Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)

  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems

  • Phlebotomy, injections, or clinical support experience

  • Knowledge of insurance verification and scheduling processes

  • Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
