Learning & Development Specialist

Location: Cincinnati, OH

We are seeking a motivated and strategic Learning & Development Specialist to support the growth and development of clinical and administrative teams in a Cincinnati healthcare clinic. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance employee performance, strengthen clinical workflows, and support organizational development.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

  • Design and implement onboarding programs for new clinical and administrative staff

  • Develop ongoing training initiatives to support professional development and skill advancement

  • Create and maintain training materials, guides, and digital learning resources

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions

Performance & Growth

  • Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and development opportunities

  • Support leadership development and management training initiatives

  • Track and evaluate training effectiveness through performance metrics and feedback

Compliance & Clinical Education

  • Ensure training programs meet healthcare regulatory standards and compliance requirements

  • Support clinical staff education related to patient care protocols and safety standards

  • Maintain training documentation and certification tracking

Collaboration

  • Work closely with clinic leadership and HR to align training initiatives with organizational goals

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Healthcare Administration, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in learning & development, training, or talent development

  • Experience working in healthcare or clinical environments preferred

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills

  • Ability to design engaging learning programs and materials

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and clinical training standards

  • Experience supporting multi-disciplinary healthcare teams
